Purpose of the position
Project One is a programme within the Intersnack Group to create new ways of working for the whole organisation by harmonising all business processes across the international management units. The realisation of this goal is supported by one common IT solution stack, based on Infor Cloud-Solutions. Currently, a team of more than 20 nationalities and 150+ colleagues works in the programme, consisting of multiple projects to achieve this target.
The Resource Manager Projects will play a crucial role in ensuring that the right personnel, skills, and resources are available to support the successful implementation of this programme. As Resource Manager Projects, you represent and promote Project One's methodology in the area of Staffing/ Resource Management as a member of the Programme Leadership/Management Team. You are responsible for the demand- and competence-based composition of project teams with a regard to quality and cost efficiency, so that the project requirements are optimally fulfilled within the portfolio. You collaborate closely with the project managers and coordinate the sourcing of staff (internal and external) with the functional departments in the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Resource Planning & Allocation: Collaborate with Programme Leadership and Project Managers to assess and allocate resources, ensuring optimal skill and availability match to project demands.
- Capacity Management: Proactively manage team workloads, identifying and addressing resource bottlenecks to maintain project timelines.
- Onboarding & HR Coordination: Facilitate the seamless onboarding of internal and external team members, managing HR tasks like visa support for international staff.
- Budget & Cost Oversight: Monitor resource expenditures, ensuring adherence to budget and maximizing cost-efficiency.
- Vendor and External Coordination: Manage vendor and consultancy relationships, ensuring external resources align with project needs and timelines.
Job requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT Management, HR, Project Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in resource management within large-scale IT or transformation programs. Previous experience in international environments is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with resource management tools (Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project), and advanced skills in Excel.
- Certifications: Project Management or Resource Management certifications are a plus.
- Office presence: According to the mobile working policy 3-4 days presence in Düsseldorf
