2. Applicants Data
Submitted application documents and other data collected in the course of the application procedure are personal data within the meaning of Art. 4 no. 1 of the EU-General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Personal data is all information that relates to you as a person. We process the personal data provided by you and transmitted to us as part of your application, which generally includes
First and last name, salutation and title
Your contact details: Contact information such as address, telephone number, e-mail address, professional position if applicable
Your application data, consisting of your cover letter, CV and the usual supporting documents and certificates.
During the application process, additional data besides the application documents you submitted may be collected from you personally, from publicly available sources or from former employers and trainers.
3. Purposes of processing applicant´s data
The legal basis for data processing in the course of the recruitment process or the execution of an employment relationship is, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
If you consent in us saving your data for another position, the processing of your application data is based on your consent, which you can revoke at any time, Art. 6 (1) (a) and Art. 7 (3) GDPR.
Your application data will be used by us to assess if you can be a candidate for
the position for which you have expressly applied or
another position, if it was an unsolicited application or your qualification matches with another position than the one you applied for.
4. Processing of applicant´s data
We process your application data using the following means:
in our in-house e-mail system
Recruitee (career software)
if necessary, additionally in paper form (printouts or copies).
We will forward your application data
to your possible future supervisor.
to the management if you apply for a managerial position
to affiliated companies of Intersnack Group GmbH & Co. KG, only after you have consented to that.
If the application procedure does not lead to your employment, we will delete and destroy your application data eight months after you or our company has finally rejected your application, unless you consent that we save your contact details for other interesting job offer.
If you ask us to save your contact details, the processing is based on your consent, which you can revoke at any time, Art. 6 (1) (a) and Art. 7 (3) GDPR.
Should an application procedure lead to an employment, we will include your application documents in your personnel file on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR in order to inform about your personality profile and qualifications for the purpose of the performance of the employment relationship. In this case, your application documents will not be deleted and destroyed until your employment has been terminated and until the legal retention period has expired since the end of the year of termination.
5. Cooperation with Third Parties
Not all data processing processes connected to recruiting are carried out in-house, but in some cases work together with external service providers:
Career software: We use Recruitee (www.recruitee.com) to process applicant´s data submitted to us.
Career platforms: We use career platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn and Xing to place job offers and to look for candidates.
Please note: The processing of data in your profile on a career platform will be carried out by the provider of that career platform and is subject to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Information of that career platform. We cannot influence such processing of your data on a career platform.
Job Offers on Career Platforms
We place our job offers on career platforms, especially Indeed, Xing and LinkedIn. If you click on our job offer, you will be forwarded to our job advertisement on our career site, which is currently hosted by Recruitee.

The following data might be collected by the provider of our career site, but will not be forwarded to us
Your device and browser
Your IP-address
Requests and responses sent from and to your device
This data might be used by the provider of our career site for:
Learning more about the behaviour of the visitors of careers website to improve the recruitment process and the website;
Improving and monitoring the performance of the website;
You are furthermore free to decide whether you would like to use your profile on career platforms like Indeed, Xing or LinkedIn to submit application data relevant If you decide to do so, your profile information stored on the career platform will be linked to our job offer via an interface and your profile data will be transferred to the Recruitee Software we use.
6. Contacting you via a Career Platform
It might be the case that we contact you via a career platform (Indeed, Xing or LinkedIn). In this event we use your information offered within your profile on the career platform and ask you whether you are interested in a specific position.
If you are interested in a position, we will handle your personal data as described above.
7. Your Rights
As a data subject, you may contact us or our Data Protection Officer at any time with an informal note to exercise your rights under the GDPR (contact details above under point 1). These rights are the following:
The right to obtain information about the data processing, as well as a copy of the processed data (right of access, Art. 15 DSGVO),
the right to request the correction of inaccurate data or the completion of incomplete data (right to rectification, Art. 16 GDPR),
the right to request the erasure of personal data and, if the personal data have been made public, to inform other data controllers of the request for erasure (right to erasure, Art. 17 GDPR),
