Job description

Purpose of the position

Supporting the rollout of Project ONE with regards to the integration of palletizers, printers, weighing scales and other systems covered by the central Operational Technology department, such as MES & MessDas. Training of key users and support of businesses during and after implementation. The position is limited for two years.


Responsibilities

  • Support Project ONE: Play a key role in rolling out technology solutions across management units, integrating various systems like MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and MessDas.
  • System Integration & Testing: Support local teams with System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Onsite Go-Live Support: Provide hands-on Go-Live support and hypercare post-implementation onsite.
  • Training: Train key users in plants on new process templates and systems.
  • Maintain Test Environments: Manage and maintain the central test environments for MES, ensuring operational continuity.

Job requirements

Education

  • University degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Business Administration – or similar experience.

Experience

  • Min. 5 years’ work experience in FMCG (ideally food), IT or Consulting roles would be desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with MES systems and programming.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, OPC/Kepware, and project management (experience with MES implementations is a plus).
  • Fluent in English; German or other Intersnack languages are beneficial.

Skills

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills—able to influence without direct authority.
  • Project management and business process documentation experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% across the EU and UK.
