Working Student Enterprise Asset Management (all gender)

Purpose of the position:

Within the engineering team, we establish common engineering standards to achieve a high level of success in maintenance across Intersnack.   

Spare part data management is crucial in cost optimizing by reducing complexity, manage stock levels and identify alternative parts. To develop a robust fundament to create and maintain spare parts, we are searching a student for a master or bachelor thesis. 

Our 40 factories have own data basis for spare parts. In future we will have one database to enable the optimization potentials. This system is facing technical and operational challenges, which must be solved in the master / bachelor thesis.  

The job holder will have the opportunity to work in an international team with colleagues from all Intersnack Management Units and gain insights into asset management and the business process world of Intersnack. 

Responsibilities:

• Support in the development and preparation of spare part master data. 

• Support in translating the current spare part data format into the new system. 

• Evaluate the use of external data basis to assist the transfer process. 

• Review spare part processes to create and maintain the data.

• Collaboration and takeover of activities in day-to-day business. 

• Education: Currently enrolled in a technical Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Engineering.

• Experience: First project experience would be nice, ideally in engineering-related fields.

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Self-driven, with a structured and reliable work style.
