Purpose of the position

Project One is creating new ways of working within the whole Intersnack group by harmonising business processes, which are supported by a common IT solution stack. Currently, a team consisting of more than 20 nationalities and 100+ colleagues is working in the programme to achieve this goal.

The holder of this position will lead a significant part of the ONE template implementation – the template itself consisting of standard ways of working supported by one common Infor-Based IT platform in a set of countries grouped together in an implementation wave.

He/She will align activities and work plans across multiple teams and drive the delivery of projects according to the pre-defined timings set by the overall programme plan.


Responsibilities

  1. Implement projects according to the Intersnack project management methodology including milestone sign-off within scope, time and budget
  2. Direct collaboration responsibility with steering committee and including sponsor.
  3. Ensure completion of all functional and project management deliverables assigned to internal or external consulting resources
  4. Monitor and report progress and manage resolution of implementation issues
  5. Ensure alignment with other projects / initiatives on a local scale with an impact on own delivery
  6. Manage allocation of business resources to work packages and deliverables
  7. Ensure the scope and organisational change management aspects of the implementation have been identified, signed-off, planned and successfully executed by the local team
  8. Coordinate collaboration between the central delivery team and the local implementation team

Job requirements

Education 

  • University degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or similar qualification (e. g. corresponding military education)


Experience

  • min. 5 years work experience in (IT) project management or consulting
  • FMCG experience is a plus


Qualifications (certificates)

  • Project Management certifications (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2) would be a plus
  • Lean/Six Sigma skills desirable


Skills required for the job (soft measures)

  • Experience in managing the introduction of IT solutions within an organization (Infor solution would be ideal, but not required)
  • Consistently seek to improve processes and effectively bring people through change
  • Thorough and reliable way of working
  • Positive “can do” approach
  • High degree of initiative and willingness to go the extra mile where required
  • Strong results orientation and internal drive to get things done
  • Good communication skills verbally and written
  • Leadership of internal and external teams without direct reporting lines
  • Experience in managing a project team or a sub-project team


Skills required for the job (hard measures)

  • Influencing skills
  • Proven experience in managing implementation or deployment of complex IT templates within an organization
  • Sound experience in application of a Project Management Methodology
  • Sound MS Office skills, including MS Project
  • Fluent spoken and written English is a must, any further language spoken within Intersnack is considered a plus
  • Good presentation skills
  • Experience in facilitating teams working in multiple locations and in parallel project phases


Willing to travel – expected level of travel of this position is approx. 4 days / week.
