Job description

Purpose of the position

  • Drive the further development and continuous improvement of efficient general ledger business processes and workflows across Intersnack Group
  • Ensure harmonized ways of working within Intersnack’s finance organizations for the ERP system INFOR M3 and other linked systems
  • Own and maintain the global Intersnack Group Chart of Accounts under consideration of the implications concerning local Charts of Accounts
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and guidelines
  • Support the roll-out of the template to the entire Intersnack Group together with the Roll-out Managers and with the Group Process Owners of other areas, IT and consulting resources
  • Support the change process of the template in close collaboration with local super users 
  • Design training concepts and perform trainings

Responsibilities

Global responsibility for business scenarios and workflows for the finance template based on the Infor solution stack and related legacy systems.

Within that assigned scope:

  • Further build and improve the finance template consisting of business scenarios, processes, roles, internal and process controls, software components and their configuration as well as related process governance
  • Ensure standardised, consistent and efficient ways of working within all Intersnack companies
  • Manage the super user community for all finance processes (Local Process Owner concept)
  • Support the Group Process Owner Finance with any strategic projects
  • Ensure alignment with all involved stakeholders for the finance end-to-end business scenarios
  • Capture business scenarios in the group-wide business process management tool ARIS.
  • Responsibility for the global Intersnack Group Chart of Accounts under consideration of the implications to the local Charts of Accounts
  • Support the roll out of the Infor solution stack including legacy systems like treasury or banking
  • Develop and certify skills within the organisation by developing and holding trainings, educating trainers and managing the training / certification within the own area of responsibility
  • Manage adherence to the template and ways of working across Intersnack
  • Manage regression testing across the entire organisation
  • Facilitate best practice sharing and application
  • Capture local issues raised by Local Process Owners and – where appropriate – establish an amendment to the template to ensure an effective and efficient execution of day-to-day processes in the countries Analyse functionality coming with future releases, build roll-out plans of new functionality across the entire organisation and manage its execution

Job requirements

  • University degree, typically in Business Administration, Economics or Finance
  • Approx. 10+ years work experience in the finance area of international companies (ideally FMCG)
  • Thorough experience in leading and realising change within an organisation
  • Leadership of projects / initiatives with teams consisting of internal resources and / or consultants
  • Solid controlling, reporting and business partnering skills
  • Consulting-like behaviour convincing colleagues to contribute without direct hierarchical power
  • Experience of working in or implementing relevant business intelligence solutions like Qlikview or Birst
  • Work experience in managing business process and organisational change
  • Sound understanding of relevant IT solutions like ERP, business intelligence and / or other relevant business software solutions
  • Consistently seek to improve processes and effectively bring people through such changes
  • Sound MS office skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English and German is a must
  • Strong results orientation and good communication skills verbally and written
