Job description

Purpose of the position

You will be at the forefront of shaping Intersnack’s future Operational Technology (OT) standards – from contributing to our design and driving exciting pilot projects, to empowering Key Users and operators through impactful training. Once the standard is defined, you’ll play a key role in rolling it out across all Intersnack sites, ensuring a smooth and successful adoption Group-wide.

Responsibilities

  • Shape OT standards – You design innovative, scalable Operational Technology frameworks for our international production sites

  • Drive pilot projects – You lead exciting digital transformation and process optimization initiatives from concept to implementation

  • Set best practices – You create clear SOPs, operational manuals, and training materials for consistent execution

  • Lead Go-Lives on site – You ensure smooth system implementations, solve issues quickly, and stabilize operations during hypercare

  • Train and empower key users – You deliver hands-on OT system training to plant teams across the group

  • Roll out OT standards globally – You manage multi-site deployments of standardized OT processes and tools

Job requirements

Job Requirements

  • Several year of work experience in FMCG (ideally food), IT or Consulting-like roles would be desirable but not required

  • Knowledge in MES, PLCs and Edge devices programming (e.g. Litmus) is a must

  • Knowledge of OPC/Kepware would be a big plus

  • Project experience in MES system implementations would be a big plus

  • First experiences with AWS

  • Experience in managing Business Processes Documentation

  • Proficient in English


Mandatory for this role:

  • Permission to travel and work in the EU and the UK

  • Willingness to travel 4-5 days per week across Europe
